I warmed up again with Martin del Potro. For those of you who don’t know him, he is a very tall Argentinean player that plays really good. I think he is over 1m 90. You will hear that name in the future.

But I will be ready to play tomorrow and I know it will be a difficult match against Djokovic. Unless you follow tennis you may not have heard a lot about him but he is a very dangerous player with a big game and he will have nothing to lose. He’s only 19, so it’s a rare time that I will be playing someone younger than me.

:inlove:
Roger said today in his press conference that we are the number 1 and 2 players on clay and that is right. That proves what I have been saying for few weeks. He is an excellent player on clay, he is number 1 and he is the best. Those who say he cannot play on clay, he has proven that is not right.

I got my trophy and when I was having my briefing before getting the trophy I had mentioned to Benito of the ATP that I would talk a lot about Roger, so I did. I gave my speech in Spanish. When in the second sentence I said how great Roger is people were booing. I didn’t know what it was. I thought maybe something had happened or maybe they misunderstood the translation. Afterwards we all realized the translator did not say what I said. The crowd thought I was talking about myself. It was just a misunderstanding. I was praising Roger, not myself, and I will always praise Roger because he is a great guy and a great champion.

Tennis: Former world number one Rafael Nadal has announced on Monday that he would be unable to take part in the Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters due to his recurring knee injury.

Nadal posted on his facebook page on Monday morning, “I am very sad to announce that I won’t be able to play in Monte Carlo. I am facing pain in my knee once again and do not find myself in a condition to compete. It’s one of the saddest days of my career as I always love to play there and wanted to win my ninth straight title there. Hope to be there next year.”

Tennis World had reported on Sunday that Nadal made a surprise visit to his doctor Mikel Sánchez in the USP La Esperanza clinic in Vitoria to have a check up of his knees.
Condition of Nadal’s knees was not clear till yesterday but this announcement has revealed that hard courts of Indian Wells harmed Spaniard’s knees. The 11-time Grand Slam champion captured his 22nd Masters titles at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells two weeks back.

After playing three clay court tournaments in four weeks on the clay courts of South America, Nadal was advised to not to risk his knees by playing on the hard courts of Indian Wells but he decided to play one of his favorite tournaments. Nadal won the titles but he had put his French Open titles defense in doubt now.

This news has dropped like a bomb on Nadal’s fans, which missed him for seven straight months before this. The Spanish star could not take part in some of the biggest events in the previous months but he got back with a bang. The 26-year-old had won eight straight titles in Monte-Carlo and was favorite to add a ninth one. They can only hope that this layoff would be not that long and the Spanish star would be back in Barcelona or Madrid.

Those readers who are feeling too sad after reading this news should check the date on their computers as they have been made April fool. Sorry guys, I know you are abusing me at the moment for playing with your emotions but I could not resist myself from doing this.

Novi pristup učenju engleskog jezika, bez učenja gramatike i dosadnih časova, učenje jezika kroz konverzaciju. Potrebno je minimalno znanje jezika, sve ostalo prepustite meni :D
Stars drži časove engleskog, poruka u inboks za dogovor. Cimanje stop :D

MC ima stvarno prelep pogled :inlove:

Rafael Nadal tells DPA that his knee is not completely healthy, but concedes his successful comeback may suggest otherwise to opponents. Nadal, who has won three of four tournaments after a seven-month absence from the game, believes players would label him arrogant if he said he wasn't 100 percent while posting a 17-1 record since his return. In an interview last week, Nadal said that his left knee is still sore.

"I cannot say I'm not 100 percent when I won three of the four tournaments that I played since my return. The other players would say that I am an arrogant," Nadal said in Monte Carlo, where he is playing for his record-extending ninth title. "But you cannot be 100 percent after stopping for seven months.”

The Spaniard added that his knee is gradually feeling better with each passing week, that his long-term goal is to compete in the 2016 Rio Olympics and that he has no plans to pursue a professional golf career when he retires from tennis.

Da mi je to neko ranije rekao ne bih verovala, ali Rafine izjave počinju da me podsećaju na Sveta Marovića :krsti:
