Prtoiv svih ostalih smo u podredjenom polozaju ako igraju najjaci timovi. Mnogo zavisi i do februara ko ce biti u kakvoj formi.

Mi smo u podredjenom polozhaju zbog nashih teniserki.

Rusija:

Vera ZVONAREVA Date of birth: 07 Sep 1984 Singles ranking: 7

Anastasia PAVLYUCHENKOVA Date of birth: 03 Jul 1991 Singles ranking: 15

Svetlana KUZNETSOVA Date of birth: 27 Jun 1985 Singles ranking: 19

Maria KIRILENKO Date of birth: 25 Jan 1987 Singles ranking: 27

Ceska:

Petra KVITOVA Date of birth: 08 Mar 1990 Singles ranking: 2

Lucie SAFAROVA Date of birth: 04 Feb 1987 Singles ranking: 24

Lucie HRADECKA Date of birth: 21 May 1985 Singles ranking: 46

Kveta PESCHKE Date of birth: 09 Jul 1975 Doubles ranking: 2

Russia and Czech Republic go head-to-head in this year’s Final after the two nations came through their semifinal ties in contrasting styles. The Russians cruised to a 5-0 victory over two-time defending champions Italy in Moscow, while the Czechs edged past Belgium 3-2 in a hard fought contest in Charleroi.

Russia’s whitewash of Italy was made easier due to the absence of Francesca Schiavone and Flavia Pennetta. In contrast, the hosts welcomed back Vera Zvonareva alongside Svetlana Kuznetsova, and the two Russian stars made light work of their opposition, despite a spirited performance from Roberta Vinci.

After a pair of singles wins for Petra Kvitova, Czech Republic was twice pegged back by Belgium, so the tie headed into a deciding doubles rubber. The familiar pairing of Iveta Benesova and Barbora Zahlavova Strycova successfully teamed up for the guests, defeating Yanina Wickmayer and Kirsten Flipkens in straight sets.

Russia and Czech Republic have played each other four times and are locked at two wins apiece, but only one of these ties has been played since they became independent nations, when Russia won 2-1 in 2001. The Russians have lifted the Fed Cup trophy on four occasions during a dominant period in the mid-2000s. The Czechs were crowned champions five times between 1975 and 1988 under the flag of Czechoslovakia.

Zvonareva withdraws from Final

Vera Zvonareva has been forced to withdraw from this year’s Fed Cup by BNP Paribas Final between Russia and Czech Republic, with the announcement coming just an hour before Friday’s draw ceremony.

The world No. 7, who played a key role in Russia’s semifinal victory over defending champions Italy in April, is replaced by Elena Vesnina, who has been hitting with the team in Moscow all week in case her services are required.

Zvonareva indicated in a press conference on Wednesday that she has been struggling with a shoulder injury picked up at the Kremlin Cup a fortnight ago, and it appears this problem hasn’t cleared up in time for her to play.
The news will come as a blow to Russian captain Shamil Tarpischev, who is already without his top ranked player Maria Sharapova, although he does have a deep squad from which to select a replacement.
Vesnina, currently ranked No. 10 in the world in doubles, won’t be expected to play in the singles line-up, but her doubles expertise could be called upon should the Final come down to a deciding fifth rubber on Sunday.

The full draw
Saturday
R1: Maria Kirilenko (RUS) v Petra Kvitova (CZE)
R2: Svetlana Kuznetsova (RUS) v Lucie Safarova (CZE)
Sunday
R3: Svetlana Kuznetsova (RUS) v Petra Kvitova (CZE)
R4: Maria Kirilenko (RUS) v Lucie Safarova (CZE)
R5: Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova / Elena Vesnina v Lucie Hradecka / Kveta Peschke (CZE)

Play starts at 2pm (10am GMT) on both Saturday and Sunday.

The ITF today announced that Petra Kvitova (CZE) has won the last Fed Cup by BNP Paribas Heart Award of 2011 in recognition of her performance during Czech Republic’s semifinal victory against Belgium in April.
She was presented with a cheque for US$10,000, which will be donated to her chosen charity of Help The Children, by ITF President Francesco Ricci Bitti at the draw ceremony for the 2011 Fed Cup by BNP Paribas Final in Moscow.

Kvitova said: “For me it’s really nice, I’m glad that I won because the people voted for me. I didn’t expect to win. I’m really happy that I can give the money to our charity in the Czech Republic.”

A total of six Heart Awards have been presented in 2011. Kvitova follows in the footsteps of Andrea Petkovic (GER), Bojana Jovanovski (SRB), Bianca Botto (PER), Ayumi Morita (JPN) and Victoria Azarenka (BLR), who were honoured earlier this year.

Tarpiscev menja Kirilenko i ako vodi protiv Lusi 4-1
Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova will sub for Maria Kirilenko in the fourth singles rubber of the Fed Cup final between Russia and the Czech Republic in Moscow, she said on Twitter. Kirilenko was beaten by Czech Petra Kvitova 6-2, 6-2 in the first match of the tie, and has been practicing with Elena Vesnina in doubles, so it appears that Russian captain Shamil Tarpischev wants to give his highest ranked singles player a shot at the veteran Safarova. Russia's Svetlana Kuznetsova took a 6-2, 6-3 win over Safarova in the second rubber to even the tie at 1-1. Kvitova will play Kuznetsova in the first reverse singles.

Odlican mec igraju Petra i Kuza.

Kuza vodi 3-0, emotivno dozivljava svaki poen. Brani se fantasticno i tera Petru na greske.
Vraca brejk Petra 2-3
Jedan dug, prelep poen osvaja Petra.

Kakav karakter... bas ono sto fali zenskom tenisu.

Petra: W/UE 32/31 ; Kuza 30/33
